You can visit the European Parliament in Strasbourg. It is open to visitors all year round, from Monday to Saturday, and these visits are entirely free of charge. This is your chance to discover the hemicycle where the plenary sessions are held and where the MEPs meet. You can also visit during a plenary session to see European democracy in action. It's like seeing a piece of European political life in action. Guided tours are available in several languages. Experience politics for yourself and immerse yourself in this very special world.


There are also permanent and temporary exhibitions outside the Chamber to guide you and help you better understand the history of the European Parliament, Europe's only directly-elected institution.

decorative arts

Discover Strasbourg's decorative arts at the museum dedicated to them. A magnificent series of ceremonial rooms in a row form a cocoon for this universe. Paintings, furniture, ceramics, ironwork and even clocks and watches.

des Bateliers

The Quai des Bateliers is on the right bank of the River Ill on Strasbourg's main island. It offers walkers sumptuous views that are both poetic and gentle.

Strasbourg's central square, Place Kléber, is the place to be for all kinds of gatherings. It is both modern, having been refurbished in 2007, and heir to the city's prestige, with its surrounding buildings dating back several centuries.
