Place Kléber Strasbourg
/ Place
Kléber
Strasbourg's Place Kléber is one of the city's central squares, a must-see for all visitors and even locals. It is undoubtedly the heart of the city, and the most famous square in the city, making it a major tourist attraction.
It's here that Strasbourg's famous Christmas magic comes to life, as from the end of October the Grand Sapin is erected.
The square was last redesigned in 2007 to make it more comfortable for visitors. While the heart of the square has been embellished with flowerbeds and fountains, the surrounding buildings reflect the town's historical heritage, dating from the Middle Ages to the 19th century.
